Beruwela is about 55km south from Colombo and approximately 3.5 hours from Bandaranaike International Airport, Negombo, near Colombo.

Eden Resort and Spa Hotel, Beruwela has just under 160 air-conditioned rooms. One main restaurant and bar with regular evening entertainment.

Leisure facilities include an outdoor pool and chargeable: tennis, squash and fitness centre with steam room, sauna and spa.

The hotel offers a free transfer to a local water sports centre at Confifi Marina between November and April where you can hire equipment for activities like; water-skiing, windsurfing and jet-skiing.

As independent travellers we left Colombo after just 9 days into our planned 6 month stay as a result of a feeling of insecurity, however we are sure that 'package tour' travellers to tourist resorts will probably enjoy a worry free holiday.
